Verden trenger gode biologer – det vil jeg bidra til. Jeg er utdannet biolog, og har i mange år forsket og undervist i biologi, men har de senere årene opparbeidet en sterk interesse for å forbedre utdanningen av fremtidige biologer. Jeg liker å teste og undersøke nye måter å undervise på. Jeg er for tiden involvert i et prosjekt hvor vi tester og utvikler alternative vurderingsmetoder for praktiske ferdigheter og generell kompetanse. Innenfor biologi er min spisskompetanse i arktisk botanikk, og mine forskningsinteresser knytter seg til evolusjonære mekanismer og utvikling av biodiversitet i Arktis.
