Research projects and/or fields of interest

I am an Associate Professor within the Digital Innovation research group in the Digitalization section. My extensive academic journey within IFI has given me a good understanding and deep appreciation for our department and its community. I am firmly committed to take good care of our wonderful department, support its further growth, and to make sure that we all continue to thrive in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

My research, education, and overall professional experience are varied and interdisciplinary, spanning domains such as applied informatics, innovation and business development, and sustainability transition. Currently, my research and teaching focus on digital platforms and ecosystems, as well as the use of digital technologies to support sustainable development. My industry experience in business analytics, product development, and technical management provides me with a practical perspective on digital technology and its applications.

I believe that this broad background equips me with a good understanding of the needs across various research sections within our department. I also value sustainability as a critical area, recognizing both its importance and the challenges of implementing it in practice.

As a potential board member, I will leverage these varied experiences to support our department’s goals in research, education, and community building.

Aspirations and priorities for this role

• Foster a supportive, friendly, and more inclusive environment within our department;
• Advocate for sustainability for various initiatives as well as in research and education;
• Encourage more collaborative initiatives and synergies between our various research groups and sections.
