Faglige interesser

Jeg jobber innen fagfeltet farmakologi med hovedfokus på overvekt og type 2 diabetes. Vi ønsker å bedre forståelsen av energimetabolismen i kroppen, med særlig fokus på hvordan reguleringen i muskel påvirker utviklingen av fedme og type 2 diabetes.

Bakgrunn

Jeg har jobbet ved Farmasøytisk institutt siden jeg var ferdig som Cand.pharm. i 2002, først som stipendiat (2002-2007), så forsker (2007- 2010), post doc (2010-2014), førstelektor (2014-2020) og nå førsteammanuensis.

Jeg har erfaring som veileder av mastergradsstudenter og Ph.d.-studenter og deltar i undervisningen av farmasistudenter.
