Torsdag 30. oktober er det fagleg-pedagogisk dag ved Universitetet i Oslo. Denne dagen tilbyr lærarar fagleg påfyll i undervisningsfaga sine. Institutt for geofag og NHM deltar i år med fire foredrag i fagløp geofag. Velkommen til alle interesserte!
Geofaredagen 2025 går av stabelen 23.-24. oktober i Oslo. Arrangør av årets konferanse er Institutt for geofag ved Universitetet i Oslo.

The lecture is held by The Geological Society of America (GSA) Hydrogeology Division’s 2025 Birdsall-Dreiss Distinguished Lecturer & Visiting Professor M. Bayani Cardenas (University of Texas at Austin, US). All are welcome!
Welcome to the opening of the exhibition "A Feeling of Longing That Freezes and Thaws" (March 7–March 23). In collaboration with researchers from the Centre for Biogeochemistry in the Anthropocene (CBA), Taylor Alaina Liebenstein Smith presents an installation exploring the poetics of permafrost. The exhibition examines the sensory and emotional dimensions of permafrost thaw.
Leading experts and researchers from diverse geoscience and physical disciplines will meet at University of Oslo for a one-day workshop on the complexity of deep polar oceans. Scheduled for March 3, 2025, at the Njord Centre, also possible to participate via ZOOM.
