HSE deviation management is about learning from occurrences and correcting what has gone wrong. The HSE deviation management is a tool for improvement. It is positive when many issues, both minor and major, are reported.

Health and Safety Goals
UiO has several HSE goals for the period 2025-2029. You can read more about that here (link).
At IBV, we have chosen the following four goals in 2026:
- IBV will work systematically with the psychosocial working environment.
We will, among others, perform a risk assessment focusing on the moving process. - IBV will strengthen the work on risk assessments and internal control.
- IBV will strenghten the work on chemical safety.
This is a continuous process that is connected to goal number 2. - IBV will offer relevant HSE-training of good qualitity.
This is a cooperation between the MN Faculty and unit for Health and safety (HMSB)
