Master's Thesis with Thin Films?
In the Department of Chemistry, we have a lab dedicated to fabricating materials atom-by-atom using the gas-phase ALD technique (atomic layer deposition). We are the only place in Norway doing research on this process, though it is widely used globally. Since 2007, it has been pivotal in continuously miniaturizing transistors in data processors, and it is now becoming increasingly relevant in the development of neuromorphic circuits, which are changing how computers think.
