October 10 is the World Mental Health Day! In relation to that, UiODoc will host two online events on Zoom in the same week focuing on mental health for PhDs and Postdocs.
First, on October 14, we'll have a talk by the senior adviser Kristine Mollø-Christensen at UiO'S Occupational Health Service. Next up, on October 16, is an interactive event with psychologist Maria Abrahamsen Østhassel, known from her social media accounts @PsyktDeg.

Imposter syndrome probably affects most of us, and can seriously affect our mental health, confidence, and happiness. This talk by Hugo de Boer aims to analyse and relativise imposter syndrome, as well as provide insights to mitigate its effects.

On September 2 – 4 2020, the Faraday Discussion "New Horizons in Density Functional Theory" was held as an online event, chaired by Hylleraas Adjunct Professor Andy Teale and sponsored by the Hylleraas Centre. The Faraday Discussion, which was originally planned as a physical meeting at the University of Cambridge, attracted nearly 200 participants.
The annual Hylleraas Spring Meeting is organized by the Oslo node at the Sundvolden Hotel. Due to the corona virus pandemic, the dates have been changed to August 10 to 12.
