Known and clear rules when it comes to responsibility and tasks is important in order have good and safe working conditions, and to keep in line with the HSE-rules.
The Department has prepared a HSE manual that all students and employees must comply with.

All new employees and visiting researchers must complete all mandatory HSE courses at the MN faculty during their first working days. The HSE course at the Department of Chemistry is in addition to the MN courses and should be completed as soon as possible, but you are allowed to start working in the lab after the mandatory training at the MN faculty has been completed.
Further everyone must send in the HSE self-declaration.
